Research and innovation.

In determining the direction and approach of its academic work, the school, with the participation of its scientists, professors, and researchers, determines the social and economic needs of the country and the problems of the current stage of development.
The academic work carried out within the school is concentrated in the departments of master’s and doctoral studies, teams of professors and teachers, and in the research institute “Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science” attached to the school. The main entity coordinating their activities will be the “Office of the Deputy Director of Research”.

Research policy

Within the academic and research work of the school, there are research and analysis projects conducted with foreign and domestic collaborating academic institutions and groups.
All of this is generally coordinated by the academic council of the school, which discusses the school’s teaching-scientific perspectives and development issues, makes suggestions and conclusions, discusses academic work reports, determines future goals and directions, and makes conclusions.
The academic council has its own approved procedures. The main unit, which is the center of the academic work carried out in the structure of the school, the “Institute of Philosophy, Sociology, and Politics” has been working continuously for 24 years. series, 5 volumes of “Scientific Papers” of ISUDS, and 3 series of “National Symposium on Chinggis Khan Studies” were released respectively.

  • Carrying out research work according to the academic and research priorities of the school,
  • Organizing meetings, conferences, seminars, and Olympiads in cooperation with the government, private sector, and civil society organizations.
  • To train undergraduate students, master’s students, and doctoral students in academic and research work, to participate in custom research,
  • Developing research methodology, conducting field research, creating a research database, creating an “information bank”,
  • Such as foreign academic cooperation.

At the same time, the areas of research and analysis carried out with the participation of the main departments and laboratories of the school are:
Important contemporary issues of international relations and Mongolia’s foreign policy, international organizations and Mongolia’s activities in them, East Asia and Northeast Asia and Mongolia’s participation and position Foreign policy of great powers and Mongolia’s safe modern theoretical and practical issues of diplomacy, Mongolia’s economic foreign relations and cooperation, the legal reform process of modern Mongolia.

RESEARCH TEAMS AND THEIR RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The reliable basis of all the activities of ISUDS is the academic and research activities that we are conducting with continuous intensity. Our research activities consist of the following main research teams. It includes:

First: “Mongolian social research team”. Our school’s scientist, Doctor of Philosophy D. Dashpurev, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor D. Ganbold, Doctor of History, Professor B. Laagan participated in this team and studied the broad issues of Mongolian society’s history, culture, and spiritual life. He has published monographs, research reports and articles. “Mongolian society” is considered as a complex from a philosophical-sociological point of view. This study will be an independent basic study of Mongolian society after the 1990 changes. The main result of this research is a monograph /monography/ called “Mongolian Society”. / Picture of the book is included.

Second: “Stages of Modernization of Mongolian Society” research team. In addition to the teachers of the school, scientists from the “Laboratory of Philosophy of History” of the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Y.V. The official leader of this research team is Doctor of Philosophy, Professor D. Dashpurev, and our school teacher, Doctor of History/Ph.D/ B. Laagan, Doctoral student D. Altanlish, and Professor D. Narandulam also participated.
Third: “Historical study of Mongolian philosophical thought” conducted by the school is one of the important areas of creative academic activities of our scientists and teachers. This research team was led by Professor Tu, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences of the Chinese National University of Education, who has worked with the school for many years. Ulzii, the main academic work produced by this research team is “A Brief History of Mongolian Philosophy”, and this work was published as the 14th volume of the classic works entitled “Conference of the Works of Foreign Mongolian Scholars” organized by the People’s Publishing Committee of the People’s Republic of China, and published in Japanese in Japan. above, in the United States and published in Russian, respectively, and made available to the world.

Another large-scale research work of this team is a large-scale monograph entitled “Mongolian Wisdom: The Nature of Mongolian Culture and Philosophy” written in English by Professor D. Dashpurev, Doctor of Philosophy, and published in the United States. Our school’s teacher, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor N. Erdenetungalag and doctoral student D. Altanlish are participating in this research.
Fourthly: In the last twenty years, scientists and professors of the school have been conducting research on the topic of “Foreign relations and cooperation of present-day Mongolia”. The first stage of this research was “Foreign relations and cooperation of Mongolia in the period of democracy and marginalization”, and now this research team is led by doctoral student D. Margad-Erdene, and this research team includes Dr. /Ph.D/ A. Batsaikhan, diplomat D. Amarsaikhan, Doctor of History, Professor B. Gonchigsuren are working. The joint work, which is the result of the research work of this team, is planned to be published in the second half of the 2021 academic year.
