The University of International Studies was founded in 1996, and it is the first educational institution in Mongolia that specializes in international relations and foreign country studies. Our school is the member of “The World philosophy committee” and “The International committee of Mongolian studies”. In 2022 we have been attested for the third time and have 27 years of experience in preparing highly sought after professionals in market society.

We have two buildings especially equipped for studies with modern facilities. Those include foreign language classroom for lingua phone study, classroom for in depth study of law, classroom for international studies, as well as classrooms for artistic and physical development of students.

Our school’s city central location right behind the parliament building conveys localization advantages within the biggest universities and scientific institutions neighborhood. 

Our school has a team of professors and teachers known for their published works nationally and internationally, honored by the state awards, as well as ambassadors and diplomats.  Moreover, expert teachers from USA, China, Japan and others come to teach our students which in turn provides them with great opportunity to learn more closely about these countries culture, language and social relations. 

Our teachers and professors outfit the students with current study materials and books that are published all over the world in English, Russian and Japanese.

Our esteemed professor D.Dashpurev, doctor of philosophical science, with his team has published many works internationally; and his book “Mongolian mind” has been published 3 times in USA, with sales of over million copies on the site of “Amazon”. These works could be found on amazon.com.

Our program includes language and culture study of 5 continents.

Our school follows internationally approved study programs. First year of our curriculum offers fundamentals of scientific courses, followed by chosen major studies in the second year of school. First year of school students study English, in the second year they are offered additional foreign language course of their choosing. Students write graduation paper at the end of their school, thus acquiring expertise in thematic self-research.

“Institute of philosophy, sociology and politology”, “New millennium” newspaper and tourist base work within our school frame. Teachers and students participate extensively in their activities and widen their expertise and creativity. 

Also, students participate in paid internship in Japan to improve their language knowledge and work expertise. 

Our school offers continuous studies of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctor’s degrees for specialists in international studies.

We offer special courses in Latin, Cyrillic stenography to students of international studies, journalism and law.

We published the first manual of Mongolian and English stenography and have a tradition to organize yearly Olympiad of stenography. Since most of our students path lead to state organizations our school offers additional classes of traditional Mongolian calligraphy.  

Our school library has more than 20 thousand books for student and teachers use and is enriched continuously by works of our own publishing. Other schools and institutions put to wide use our books.

We have participated in high school curriculum by contributing with a chapter “International relations” in social science schoolbook thus offering basic knowledge of international studies profession.

Students acquire research expertise by writing graduate papers and defending their thesis. Our school publishes “Scientific letter”, collection of teachers and students reports.

Our graduate students since 2000 have been employed by Security Council of Mongolia, Presidential Administration of   Mongolia, Government administration, ministry administrations, bank and financial institutions. Moreover, our graduates work in their professional capacity in Mongolian embassies in Japan, France, Cuba and South Korea.

Our school has Mongolian student alumni, as well as many foreign student alumni. For example, we had students from Russia, China, Czechia and Japan. At the moment we have students from Russia, China and Japan. / see foreign cooperation/
